What I can teach:
-anything clothing repair-related for beginner to advanced sewists
-how to operate a sewing machine
-basic sewing skills
-this one basic sewing project: making a pillow from something that already exists (ie a t-shirt or another textile- no new fabric)
-embroidery
-basic alterations (hemming, taking in, etc).

What I do not teach:
-garment construction (patterns, draping, construction, etc.)
-advanced tailoring- we’re not going to have time to tailor your suit or wedding dress.
-upholstery
-anything fur, leather, or suede related

How to select an appropriate length of time:
If you are new to sewing, or if you would like to learn a completely new technique, we will likely need 1.5- 2 hours. If you have some experience, 1 hour is likely sufficient. I will try to fit as much information as I can within the amount of time of our appointment and be mindful of time. If the appointment runs over, you may be charged accordingly.
